WHERE HAS THE HAPPINESS GONE?

Problem 1: How to score good marks?

Problem 2: How to become popular?

Problem 3: How to get a job?

Problem 4: How to get a promotion?

Problem 5: How to save money for children?

Problem 6: How to get the love of life?

Problem 7, Problem 8, Problem 9, Problem 10..........

And the list goes on to infinity.

In midst of all the problems, we have forgotten how to remain happy. I don't even remember when the last time I have laughed freely and enjoyed my life without caring about anything. I have seen people laugh and smile but I have never seen that satisfaction of happiness in the life of people. Yesterday, with a close friend of mine, I was enjoying the chilling cold of Delhi's winter in C.P.

'So this is your Nexus?' I said smiling while examining the phone.

'Yeah. Show me your phone.' He said.

I handed him my phone and started playing Subway Surfer in his phone, as my average phone couldn't run the game smoothly.

'Your phone is good but it's slow' He said.

'Yeah, Yeah... I know. I need to get a new phone.' I said, still playing the game.

I hit the train and the game was over. He laughed and I laughed along with him. I accused him of distracting me. I handed him his phone back and started watching the crowd, which mostly consisted of couples. Right, in front of me, I saw a small family who was trying to sell balloons. The small kid of the family was around 5-6 years and he was playing with one of the balloons. He was laughing and smiling while he threw the balloon in the air. He was laughing and smiling while he touched the balloon. He was repeating the process again and again.  I missed such a laugh in my life and in the life of the people who surrounded me. I noticed that the kid didn't wear a sweater. In fact, he was playing bare feet. But did such things kept the small kid from enjoying his life? The answer is No.

I thought about his future. Will the carefree child exist in the near future? Deep in my heart, the answer that I got was No. I distracted myself from the thought and simply watched him burst the balloon. He smiled after looking at us and went to his mother. Soon, he engaged himself into another play.

We need a reason to be happy. Perhaps, that's why the amount of the smile that we pass is less than the amount of tears that we have shed. Let's start smiling in the small wonderful things that we do and see.  :)

Sakshi Maharaj: "HINDU WOMEN SHOULD HAVE FOUR KIDS"

The person surely deserves an introduction after all he is a 'Maharaj' and has made such a great statement. Sakshi Maharaj is a BJP MP from Unnao. He has been repeatedly elected in Lok Sabha. With interests in yoga, spiritualism, writing, sports, clubs and swimming, he decided to join politics. There are four more achievements of this person.

1. He along with his brothers has been booked for murder of a member of district panchayat.

2. He has been accused in the 1992 Babri masjid demolition.

3. For misusing constituency he was expelled from the Rajya Sabha.

4. He has spent a month in Tihar jail for rape charges.

The most shocking thing is that in India, a person with such a history can become the Member of Parliament. Chances after chances have been given to the person, but still he has refused to sharpen his mind. Famous statements made by this person include:

1. Hindu women should produce 4 kids. (As if women are baby, producing machines.)

2. Death sentence should be given for indulging in religious conversion. (Why? It's not even a crime.)

3. Nathuram Godse is a true patriot. (And the Father of the Nation is a true enemy?)

Today, I will be focusing only on the first statement. The population of our country ranks second in the world, which means every six person in the world, is from India. The government in which he is working is the same one which talks about population policy. However, this statement is not only related to population, it is related to religious population. He said that he made this statement to have a stable population of Hindu. The question that arises here is why do we need a stable Hindu population? Why few people of our country are trying to divide the united population of India into the population of religion? Why such faulty thoughts are inserted in the minds of the public that they are forced to think about the population of their religion? Since when religion has started demanding the increase of its followers? Why Hindu women should produce more babies to counteract the Muslims population? Don't we know that in our country Hindu and Muslims are like brothers and since when competition has started taking place between siblings? India is a secular country and such statement of a government worker is not at all tolerable.

Like a real stubborn person, he has refused to explain his remark and said "Let bygones be bygones." Seriously? If every criminal after committing a crime, says with proud that 'Let bygones be bygones', imagine the view of the nation that we will have. Why our Prime Minister is silent in this issue? Why is he not taking responsibility of his member?  Offering no apology, he went further by saying that "If I have done anything wrong, hangs me. So many people have been hanged for the country. I am also ready to get hanged for the nation.'

The last sentence has confused me a lot. 'Hindu women should have four kids.' Was the statement made for the benefit of the nation? No, it was made for dividing the nation. It was meant to insult womanhood. 'I am also ready to get hanged for the nation.' Yes, you surely should be ready because our nation doesn't need people like you. You will be doing a favour to the nation by getting hanged. And this won't be a sacrifice for the nation, it will be a gift to the nation.

Dear Lover.

You have been sending love letters to someone you liked. That is very sweet. You become upset when he doesn’t reply to your letters. Well he is busy it seems or may even be a fool to not reply a girl like you. To begin with, I love reading your letters although they are not subjected to me. I find you to be a true romantic. A train journey is not enough to know someone truly but those 5 hours train delay was one of the most exciting times spent ever by me. I hope we bump each other more often and go on a similar journey. By the way I don’t know to read a palm that was just an excuse. . .

I never thought that we would be meeting today. The situation was not suitable, still all of us tried to act normal.  Did you feel bad when you saw me with him? Of course, you did. You were upset. It was visible. Why were you upset? Are you in love with me? Say yes,please.  I am dying in your love, I want someone  to inform you this. You don't even know letters are written for you, it's not even your fault. The way you were ignoring, the way I was trying to cheer you up was so cute. Will we behave in the same manner after marriage? Oh, sorry. I forgot that you don't love me. We are not going to marry each other. But how can I lose hope? How can I stop breathing? I pleaded for a hug. After resisting a lot, you finally agreed for one. I just lost myself in your arms. Why didn't hug me as tightly as you hugged me for the first time? Why didn't you intermingle your finger in mine? Has the special bonding evaporated? Why did you behave in an awkward manner when I said that I am in love with you?Come to me, don't torture me like this. I know you have every right to break my heart still please don't break it. After finding you, I felt like I have found my destination. Why do I have to live under the constant fear of losing you? Why do I feel that you will disappear in a fleeting moment? I know this feeling will be my living nightmare. I know you will leave me, still why do I want to hold you forever? Why do I want to say in front of everyone that I am yours and you are mine? Why am I writing you these letters even when I know you are not reading them? Why? And yeah, thanks for coming.  There is no logic behind whatever I have penned down because it's love. An Interview With Subhasis Das

I think illuminating the journey of authors can help to show a path to success that you can emulate and follow. Today, our interview is with the author Subhasis Das.

Q- Do you enjoy giving interviews?

A-  Ofcourse... I love them... who doesn't until you're being interviewed by Arnab Goswami.

Q- Why do you write?

A- Well... I write because I am an engineer... these days all engineers do.

Q- Where do your ideas come from?

A- I guess my brain.. until I am copying someone.

Q- What is the hardest thing about writing?

A- Well... I am home even in weekends working on my stories.

Q- How much research do you do for your novel?

A-  I have taken almost 2 years to complete my each book. So, you have your answer there.

Q- While writing do you take drugs or drink alcohol to lift up your imagination? :P

A- I stay with my parents... so that's kinda impossible. By the way, I don't know any author these days who does drugs or alcohol for writing... to imagine something you need to be in your senses..

Q- Which writers inspire you?

A-  CHETAN BHAGAT

Q- What is your favourite quote?

A- You need courage and not wings to be SUPERMAN. That's my lines.

Q- What is the most demeaning thing said about you as a writer?

A-  I was once asked by a publisher to add few intimate scenes and also kill the girl at last in one of the stories.

Q- What do you consider as your biggest failure?

A- I am still single.

Q- What were you like at the school?

A- In school everyone thought I would be a scientist.

Q- What's the most blatant lie you have ever told?

A-  I love being an IT engineer.

Is It Okay To Park On The Road?

Every morning, I have to cross a number of uneven pavements and zigzag paths on the street.

Why?

To reach my college.

There are no proper pavements beside the road plus half of the road is used as a parking lot. Students have to walk in a zig zag manner in between the cars to reach the college. The pavement beside the college have open manholes. Sometimes the cars and the bikes are parked on the pavements. The security guards don't do anything about it. No one complains about it, no one pays attention.  No one can be blamed if an accident happens. The pedestrian don't have a pavement and the drivers don't have a proper road.

A parking lot should be made in a separate area for the cars. Pavements on the side of the road is a basic necessity.  I know this is a stupidity. Like a stupid person I am complaining about the conditions of the road near my college in a blog.  I actually don't know whom should I approach to complain. :/ 

She was very dirty.

She didn't belong to her parents.

She didn't have a friend.

Her love didn't love her,

Still down her cheek, never fell a tear.

Perhaps, she was tired of crying.

Perhaps, she was tired of living.

Perhaps, she was pleading for her death.

Perhaps, God was not ready to accept her.
