It isn't logic, it is love. - 3

To
My love

I never thought that we would be meeting today. The situation was not suitable, still all of us tried to act normal.  Did you feel bad when you saw me with him? Of course, you did. You were upset. It was visible. Why were you upset? Are you in love with me? Say yes, please.  I am dying in your love, I want someone  to inform you this. You don't even know letters are written for you, it's not even your fault. The way you were ignoring, the way I was trying to cheer you up was so cute. Will we behave in the same manner after marriage? Oh, sorry. I forgot that you don't love me. We are not going to marry each other. But how can I lose hope? How can I stop breathing? I pleaded for a hug. After resisting a lot, you finally agreed for one. I just lost myself in your arms. Why didn't hug me as tightly as you hugged me for the first time? Why didn't you intermingle your finger in mine? Has the special bonding evaporated? Why did you behave in an awkward manner when I said that I am in love with you?Come to me, don't torture me like this. I know you have every right to break my heart still please don't break it. After finding you, I felt like I have found my destination. Why do I have to live under the constant fear of losing you? Why do I feel that you will disappear in a fleeting moment? I know this feeling will be my living nightmare. I know you will leave me, still why do I want to hold you forever? Why do I want to say in front of everyone that I am yours and you are mine? Why am I writing you these letters even when I know you are not reading them? Why? And yeah, thanks for coming.  There is no logic behind whatever I have penned down because it's love. A silly, stupid love!

An Interview With Subhasis Das

"The desire to write more increases with writing."

I think illuminating the journey of authors can help to show a path to success that you can emulate and follow. Today, our interview is with the author Subhasis Das.

Q- Do you enjoy giving interviews?
A-  Ofcourse... I love them... who doesn't until you're being interviewed by Arnab Goswami.

Is It Okay To Park On The Road?

Every morning, I have to cross a number of uneven pavements and zigzag paths on the street.
Why?
To reach my college.

There are no proper pavements beside the road plus half of the road is used as a parking lot. Students have to walk in a zig zag manner in between the cars to reach the college. The pavement beside the college have open manholes. Sometimes the cars and the bikes are parked on the pavements. The security guards don't do anything about it. No one complains about it, no one pays attention.  No one can be blamed if an accident happens. The pedestrian don't have a pavement and the drivers don't have a proper road.

A parking lot should be made in a separate area for the cars. Pavements on the side of the road is a basic necessity.  I know this is a stupidity. Like a stupid person I am complaining about the conditions of the road near my college in a blog.  I actually don't know whom should I approach to complain. :/

She was very dirty.

She didn't belong to her parents.
She didn't have a friend.
Her love didn't love her,
Still down her cheek, never fell a tear.
Perhaps, she was tired of crying.
Perhaps, she was tired of living.
Perhaps, she was pleading for her death.
Perhaps, God was not ready to accept her.

For sure, she was very dirty.
For sure, she was a burden for the Earth.
For sure, she was a burden for the heaven above.
For sure, she was a burden for the hell below.

It Is So Easy To Lose A Friend And A Lover.

After the tense situation, she switched off the light. She rested on the bed thinking about whatever happened. Cold air made its way to her room through the opened window. The curtains were flying. She was staring out of the window. Even the fluttering of the leaves seemed interesting to her.

Her phone vibrated. Her best friend was calling her. She picked it up.
"Hello." She said in a low voice.
"You have to make choice." He said.
"What kind of choice" she asked.
"I can't always remain like an option. Either choose me or him." He said
"I can't leave him." She said.
"You have made your choice. We will never cross each other's path again." He said.
"But you are also equally impor........."
The call was disconnected. A small drop of tear flowed down.

Her phone vibrated again. She thought that her best friend must have called again. She smiled. She looked on the screen. The call was of her love.
"Hello." She said.
"Hello. Either choose me or your best friend." He said
"You know that he is my best friend. I just can't leave him like this." She said.
"Fine, then go and save your friendship. You have lost me." He said and disconnected the call.

She called them again and again. But none of them picked up the call. She was left alone. All the soothing words, happy promises, happy moments were forgotten. She sat on the floor and kept crying. Neither her friend nor her love was there to wipe those tears.

Let Me Get The Freedom.

I want to be a free bird,
To roam everywhere.
I want to be a free flower,
To sing merrily.
I want to live above the heaven and below the hell,
Where no one can find me.
I don't want to live here,
Where I can find no peace, no happiness,
Nothing except hatred!
Let me go away.
Let me get the freedom!

It isn't logic, it is love. - 2

To
My love

I don't even know whether my letters are able to find you a lot. My letter writing is becoming like diary writing. Perhaps, it will sound creepy, but I am missing you a lot. The last conversation that we had felt so good. I never wanted the call to end. The way you were explaining everything, the way you were smiling, the way you asked if we can meet, pushed me in the well of love again. Whenever, I decide to ignore you to maintain my so called self-respect, you call me. You behave as if nothing had happened. You act as if everything is perfectly normal. Perhaps, it is perfectly normal for you. But turmoil occurs in my heart. A huge amount of feeling overwhelm me. It's a strange feeling. I want to cry but I am unable to cry. I want to cry when I think of our future. I smile when I recall the happy moments of the past. The feelings get mixed up and I end up looking like a fool. I want to run and hug you tight, but you are nowhere around me. I want to run my fingers through your hair, but you are nowhere around me. I want to look at you when you are sleeping after a tiresome day, but you are nowhere around me. I want to intertwine our fingers, but you are nowhere around me. This misery drains my happiness; still I am willing to accept it. Want to remind you again; don't search for any logic, because it's love. A stupid, silly love!

CHANGES THAT I WANT TO SEE IN AN INDIAN TRAIN

On my way from Guwahti to Delhi, I realized that the train journey could be very tiring and boring. The last train journey was much better. Thanks, to the awesome people whom I met.
The changes that I want to see are-

1.  HEIGHT OF THE TRAIN SHOULD BE INCREASED
It's really very difficult to sit in the upper berth of the train with your neck down. It's actually painful! After few minutes, you will lose your temper and you will lie down again. L

2.  THE SEATS SHOULD BE MADE COLOURFUL
Since 2003, the colours of the seats are blue. My eyes are tired of this colour now. What about few pink, black, green and violet? Sounds fun?

3. MINI T.V SHOULD BE INSTALLED
So that we at least can pass our time happily. Carrying laptop can be an alternative, but let's admit that everyone doesn't have a laptop.

4. THE LADDER SHOULD BE IMPROVED
I don't know about others but it becomes very difficult for me to jump in my seat after reaching the end of the ladder. There should be a more sophisticated way to do it.

5. THERE SHOULD BE A WIDE VARIETY OF FOOD OPTION AVAILABLE
It will be a bit difficult for them to manage but I am sure they can do it. I will love to choose between rajma, dal makhni, shaahi paneer, pasta, macroni etc.

6. THE SPEED OF THE TRAIN SHOULD BE SUPERSONIC
Wow! That will be fun. But an exception should be made. Whenever a splendid natural scene comes to sight, the speed should slow down.

7. THERE SHOULD BE A SMALL LIBRARY
The library should not be made for the nerds but for the people who enjoy literature. It should comprise of motivation books, inspirational one, novel and poems. So, that people can reflect their inner self.

8. THE DRESSES OF THE STAFF SHOULD BE CHANGED
Their dress code is very dull. It should be made more formal. Maybe stuffs like coat and tie will do the work.

9. THE STATION SHOULD HAVE A THEME OF FAIRYLAND

Perhaps, it will sound insane, but the station will look very beautiful if they are colored in pink with 3-D pictures of fairies everywhere.

An Interview With Sabi Shaikh

"In all seriousness, Goverdhan Sharma,59, says no interaction should be allowed between Hindu girls and Muslim boys. Sharma speaks softly and slowly about 'Love Jihad', a term coined by right wing groups to denote marriage between Hindu girls and Muslim boys and alleged subsequent conversion of the girl."
- Hindustan Times
Goverdhan Sharma is a BJP candidate.

In such an atmosphere where terms like Love Jihad and honour killings are used, the market is flooding with a book named "Via Delhi- a twisted tale of love", a story about a Muslim guy who is deeply in love with a Hindu girl.
It's a story about a Muslim guy who can bow his head in front of Lord Krishna, simply because he is the favourite god of the Hindu girl.
It's a story where the sister of the Hindu girl talks about honour killing.
It's a story where the family of the Hindu girl pressurizes her to marry and become a housewife but the Muslim guy comes to her rescue.
It's a story where the mother of the Hindu girl addresses the Muslim boy as son.
Sounds extraordinary, right?
Believe me, the story really has an extraordinary plot!

I am very lucky to be interviewing such a daring author Sabi Shaikh.

He goes to a gym named Muscle Line Gym. :p Extra information for the people who want a body like him. (*_*)

Q- Do you enjoy giving interviews?
A- Yes
(An honest reply!)

Q- Why do you write?
A- To pour my pain in paper.

Q- Where do your ideas come from?
A- From the heart.
(A true writer!)

Q- What is the hardest thing about writing?
A- Finding a silent atmosphere.
(I knew that Mars is a better planet!)

Q- How much research do you do for your novel?
A- For writing a love genre no research is required. For the other you need to do your homework.

Q- While writing do you take drugs or drink alcohol to lift up your imagination? :P
A- No
(A serious no! Lol....)

Q- Which writers inspire you?
A- I am not much of a reader but yes Chetan Sir did inspire me a lot.

Q- What is your favourite quote?
A- Impossible is just a word. Means nothing by Sabi Shaikh.
(Words of wisdom)

Q- What is the most demeaning thing said about you as a writer?
A- People just call me crazy coz I quit my job for writing. They still do.
(Stupid people and their stupid views!)

Q- What do you consider as your biggest failure?
A- Every failure is big in its own way. I have tasted more failures when compared to success. I failed class ninth. I had to repeat it. Lost a year. It acted like a reality check and life change for the good.
(Life really changed for the good!)

Q- What were you like at the school?
A- A very weak guy who was often bullied. I was bad at studies also.
(That explains the biceps and triceps in his body!)

Q- What's the most blatant lie you have ever told?

A- That I am a very good guitar player.

Girls, please note that he is bluffing. Read the answer of the last question.

It isn't logic, it is love. - 1

To
My love
It was never my intention to fall in love with you. I have always dream about a guy who loved me. With love comes care, concern, understanding and respect. Like everyone else, I have expected these basic stuffs. After all, I am also a normal girl, right? The irony is that you have said it clearly that you will never fulfill any expectations of mine but still I am in love with you. Because, when the matter is about you, I can change everything. I expect nothing but the worst from you. I try to push myself beyond my limit, to impress you. I try to behave like a perfect girl because I think you deserve nothing but the best. My well-wishers say that you don't care about me.  They say that you don't love me. Little do they know that I don't need your care, just a smile is enough for me. I do need your love but if you can't provide, it's totally fine. I understand.  The fact is I am deeply and madly in love with you.  I start getting ready for you a day before our meeting and still I think that I look ugly. I want to improve myself a lot for you. Once, you said that I need to fall and feel the pain for the knowledge to seep in my brain. I guess, I am waiting for that fall to move away from you. Because one-sided love is painful. I can criticize you for hours but just a small interaction with you turns the table upside down.  There is no logic behind whatever I have penned down because it's love. A silly, stupid love!

Save Petroleum

Man is considered as the most intelligent and dominating species on the Earth. He has used and overused most of the resources of the Earth for his physical comfort and leisure, beside fulfilling his basic needs. During the last few centuries, man has developed various tools and technologies to exploit the resources of the Earth on a very large scale. Now the activities of the human beings, due to increased industrialization, are compelling them to think seriously about the damage done to the various resources of the Earth.
Deep down in the Earth, trapped by layers of rocks, lie pools of thick, thick black liquid called oil. It is a fossil fuel, produced from decayed animals and animals that lived in seas millions of years ago. Properly termed as petroleum, it has become a vital commodity in the world.
Burning of fossil fuels also causes air pollution. So the lesser we use it, the better it is for our mother Earth. It will also conserve the fossil fuels.
Once refined, it is the source of petrol, kerosene and diesel fuels. Close to oil reserves, there are often deposits of natural gas, which are also produced by bacterial breakdown of ancient marine life. Development of technology has provided us the method to extract these minerals profitably from inside the Earth. However, the rate of utilization of these minerals has increased tremendously in modern times. We know that petroleum is a non- renewable resource because their deposits cannot be replenished easily. We can conserve these oils by using them judiciously and using wasteful practices, so that they may last longer.
Life in any community depends on the availability of sources of energy. The term energy crisis refers to the steady decrease in the availability of the sources of energy for the sustained growth of a nation’s, or indeed the world’s economy. So it is necessary to preserve these non- renewable resources.
It is well said that the Earth has sufficient to satisfy the needs of the people but not the greed of even one individual. Over-exploitation of natural resources is a global phenomenon. To tackle this problem effectively, it is essential that several national and international agencies work together
We should remember that “Man belongs to Earth; Earth does not belong to man.” We have to live as the one of the living species and as a part of nature, and not as the master of nature. If used carefully, oil and petroleum can make a country very rich and prosperous but excessive use of oil and petroleum will force everyone to walk in the future instead of riding a vehicle.

Can Dress Of A Girl Describe Her Character?

Few days ago a headline that caught my attention was “A college revokes dress coded diktat”. On further reading I came to know that the college administration ordered the girls to wear only dresses that covers them from head to toe which is a ‘proper, descent looking and appropriate dress’; the girls were also barred from keeping more than one mobile phone. The girls, unlike the boys were not entitled to Sunday excursion out of the campus, as it could ‘violate the moral standards of the society’.
Hats off to such educated people who keep such kind of thinking.
Later while scrolling through my facebook wall, I found a post in which it was written
The dress of modern girls,
Is less from here and is less from there,
Sometimes, they wear sleeveless;
Sometime, they wear backless;
And if a guy stare at them,
According to the girls, he becomes characterless.”

(Note: - There is a difference between looking and staring at someone.)
It is obvious that, this was posted by a boy. One can easily see the sarcastic comment for the girls in that post.
After reading what the educated and experienced administrators of the college have said, I was not surprised to see such views bourgeoning among the brain of the young guys. If you define the character of a girl, by her dress, then sorry to say your brain is bereft of proper mentality.
This is a modern era for everyone, but still the girls have to lament for the restrictions, which are thrown on them. Plaudits must be given to the parents, who teach their daughter how to dress but forget to teach their sons how to behave. It is time to get out from the grip of such thinking. Life is lived once, so why to compromise with your choices?
The English idiom "Don't judge a book by its cover" is a metaphorical phrase which means "you shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something by its outward appearance alone. In the same manner, you cannot judge someone’s character just by looking at them. If a girl is comfortable with whatever she is wearing, then who are you to pressurize her by your cheap thinking? Passing comments on someone because of the narrow mentality is utterly wrong.
This is a humble request to the people with such kind of thinking, “Please change the way you think”.
I know it is your life, you can think whatever you want, but when your thinking starts to affect someone in an adverse manner, you should surely revise your thoughts. Moral values describe a person’s character. Therefore, it is wrong to pass comments without any proper knowledge.
